Students get familiar with numbers 1-100, identify each number, compare the numbers, and fill in missing numbers in a sequence. They will understand the concepts of addition and subtraction. They will also be introduced to practical skills such as reading clocks and identifying coins and bills. They will identify a half, third, quarter, and eighth of a shape. In science, they will identify animals and plants and group them by their basic characteristics. They will identify basic landforms and planets in our solar system. They will be introduced to selected systems of the human body. Product License to this E-course is valid for a duration of 18 months upon date of purchase. Grade 1 course
students age 6-7
OR
Students will be familiar with numbers 1-1000, identify each number, compare numbers based on place value, identify odd and even numbers, and fill in missing numbers in a sequence. They will identify a fraction of a shape and a set of objects, and they will compare fractions with the numerator of 1. They will add and subtract numbers with up to 3 digits vertically. They will identify basic geometric shapes and 3D solids, and identify congruent, similar, and symmetric shapes. They will measure the length using a ruler. In science, students will identify types of animals and plants, compare different types of habitats, measure temperature, precipitation, and wind, and understand the relationship between the day/night cycle, seasons, and the movement of Earth, Sun, and Moon. They will understand how force influences the movement of an object. They will understand and name the changes in the states of matter. Grade 2 course
students age 7-8

Students will add and subtract numbers with up to 4 digits vertically. They will practice skip-counting and apply that to multiply one-digit numbers. They will memorize the multiplication table for one-digit numbers. They will apply addition, subtraction, and multiplication to solve word problems and identify the solving strategy based on keywords. They will determine the complement of a fraction and compare fractions with the same numerators or denominators. They will add and subtract fractions with the same denominator. They will master reading the clock and using the terms “quarter past”, “half past”, and “quarter to” to express time. They will add or subtract a given number of minutes to or from the given time. They will measure the length both in centimeters and inches. In science, they will understand the similarities and differences between animals, plants, and fungi. They will identify the classes of animals (mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates). They will understand how plants reproduce.
