Teachers can create original content to support their classroom instruction and as a built-in lesson plan.
Teachers can either project material to their class on the screen or white board directly from their tablet, or make material available on student tablets for individual work.
Teachers are provided with immediate feedback. They can discern each student´s level of understanding of both in-class assignments and homework.
Teachers can approve external applications and learning tools, which extend tablet usage beyond SPORK resources. These applications are available on the student’s tablet both in class and at home.
Teachers can benefit from advanced functionalities allowing quick polls among students or comprehension reports which track levels of engagement and understanding over time.
SPORK iPlanner builds a list of Instructional Instruments organized by an outline—the scope of material to be covered in the course. It allows the planning and execution of lesson plans aligned with the outline, and provides options to create and access your own material, or to build on material created by other users. It also allows the content created in iPlanner to be utilized during class or released later to student tablets, and makes sure that the visibility of the instruments can be configured only upon the teacher’s approval.
The SPORK Task Tool enables building and storing problem sets, questions, and assignments into a library and organizing them into homework sets, quizzes, and tests.
Gives an option to include the problem sets either into an “aKit” (by Authors) or into an iPlanner (by Teachers).
